Stony Point High School will be offering the TSIA on Thursday, November 5th, at 9:00 AM in the Lecture Hall. You must preregister by Monday, November 2nd, on the Stony Point Testing Website. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Congratulations to the Tiger Band and Sapphire Guard for receiving a First Division Superior Rating at the UIL Region Marching Contest at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex this past Tuesday Night! They have advanced to the Area level of competition, which will take place on Saturday, October 31st, at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio! Go Tigers!

Congratulations to the Stony Point HS Navy JROTC Orienteering Team for sweeping the 4th Annual Find the Tiger meet, taking 1st place in both the Varsity and JV divisions!
Orienteering is a sport where competitors use a detailed map and compass to navigate through wild, unfamiliar terrain to find checkpoints as quickly as possible.
Top runners for Stony Point included Varsity 1st place overall winner Eli Barnes, top Varsity female Samantha Trevino, top JV male Djad Harrick, and top JV female Trystan Lourigan. Shoutouts also go to Varsity teammates Aidan Wade, Santiago Garcia, and Scarlett Bingham, and JV teammates Caleb Davasoux, Sean Sia, and Reina Goodman.
Great job to the team and Coaches Master Guns Castillo and Lt. Colonel Ross as they move one step closer to the State Championship and National Qualifier!

Tiger Nation, our very own Tiger Band and Sapphire Guard has begun their annual Text-a-Thon fundraiser through the company givebutter.com. Congratulations to the Stony Point NJROTC unit for an incredible performance this past weekend! Stony Point ROTC officially qualified for the Navy JROTC State Championship after sweeping the nine categories of entire drill meet at Smithsonian Valley to secure the Overall Championship victory.
In a first for the program, the unit qualified for the State Championship right out of the gate at their very first Regional Drill meet of the season! This was driven by the outstanding leadership of Commanding Officer Victoria Martinez (who also led the Unarmed Exhibition team), alongside Team Captains Samantha Trevino (Basic Drill), Aanay Arvind (Academics), (Color Guard) Triston Lourigan, Aaron Caudillo (Armed Exhibition), and Marian Colunga (Marksmanship).

Our first swim meet of the season was an incredible success! Every member of our Swim Team improved their personal times compared to last year, making this a very special accomplishment for our athletes.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Hispanic Heritage celebration! We especially appreciate all the teachers who brought their classes and gave their students the opportunity to experience this special event together.
Our audience enjoyed a colorful celebration filled with piñatas, quinceañeras, a Día de Muertos altar, mariachi music, a Hispanic Heritage beauty pageant, and lively latino performances. Each presentation brought a different tradition, story, and expression of Hispanic culture to the stage.
Thank you to our students, teachers, staff, and everyone who helped make this celebration possible. Your support helped us create a meaningful opportunity to celebrate our roots, share our traditions, and bring our community together through culture and music.
