Huge news from over the weekend! On Saturday, our Stony Point Navy JROTC unit earned top honors and won the 15th Annual Tiger Challenge Competition!
This is a massive deal, Tigers—after months of early morning practices and intense discipline, our Cadets brought the coveted traveling trophy back home to Stony Point for the first time in over ten years!
A massive congratulations to all of our hard-working JROTC Cadets, along with Master Gunnery Sergeant Ishmael Castillo and Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Ross for their incredible leadership.
If you see a JROTC Cadet in the halls today, give them a high five and congratulate them on bringing the trophy back where it belongs.

Then, on Wednesday, September 16, join us for Sip, Sip, ¡Olé! from 4:20 to 5:00 PM in the Concession Foyer. Come try different Hispanic sodas and beverages and enjoy a little taste of Hispanic culture!

SPHS Tiger Dancers: One-Day Kitty Clinic Camp
Join the Stony Point High School Tiger Dancers for a one-day Kitty Clinic Camp! All participants will receive a T-shirt!
WHAT IS IT?
Students ages K–8 will learn a dance for fun and a pre-game routine to perform before an SPHS Varsity Football game. Participants will eat snacks, play games, and make crafts.
There will be four age groups for learning:
Grades K–1
Grades 2–3
Grades 4–5
Grades 6–8
Each participant will also be able to take home an individual picture in "Tiger Dancer Attire" and receive a Kitty Clinic T-shirt at the football stadium before the performance!
WHEN IS IT?
The one-day clinic takes place on Friday, October 9th, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Registration: Begins at 8:30 AM in the SPHS Cafeteria.
Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Camp Show Off: 1:00 PM in the SPHS Cafeteria
Game Performance: Students will go on the field during pregame and sit in the stands with the Tiger Dancers at the game on October 9th.

Want to run for Homecoming Court? The nominations forms go out on Tuesday September 8th and close Friday September 11th. You can access them in your school email. The Top 3 Candidates for each grade level will go onto the ballot. Voting for Homecoming court will open on September 14th and close September 18th!
